Waltzing with Mushroom Clouds

Minute Man

The minute man is on the loose
Code 0–black
Keeping time on the dire front
Restless skin
Inching by the red

Saw her in the kitchen window
Framed concert playing

She sings like a pig;
Squeezed at the stomach
Forcing through
Intestinal pleasantries
Burned inside out
Like a cheap T.V dinner
Goodbye
Saturday night.

Free Hunger

Zombies are people too
So take a bite!
Brains are cheap
In an anarchist's bubble

A Fool without Honour

In class I smoked my pencil
To look older
Turned on the teacher
She bent over
I flew a paper airplane inside
Navigated to her heart
Fell in love
My mistake
Should have went
Kamikaze

Urban Mambo

Orange jumpsuit cigarette man
Searches the ashes–on his knees
And finds no means of satisfaction
Merciless baron concrete!

Time for revenge
On you
Fucking cunt!
Enjoy your smokes asshole

Here's my bus
I'm alive but still can't dance
Maybe next week
I'll learn to tango

These are great. I LOVED LOVED LOVED A Fool without Honour - funny and original.

I haven't published much, only the ones marked on my blog and four others which I will post for free eventually.

Will be back for new posts,
Val.

Thanks, you're very kind, poetry has never been my strongest area but it`s fun to play around with--I still can`t figure out iambic pentameter, but I never had rhythm to begin with so that might have something to do with it.

That's cool, I was just asking because I thought it would be fun to collect journals that had published writing by people I knew in some way, and who's writing I really liked.

So far it's a pretty small group, always hoping to find more though.
